Holding a book vs. an iPad, Nook or Kindle

Okay, so call me old-fashioned but when I read a book I prefer to hold the book in my hands vs. reading it on an electronic device. Of course when I edit and proofread I mostly do it on computers—usually in Word or Adobe—unless the client specifically prefers me to edit on a hard-copy version of their manuscript.

When I read in my spare time though, I like to curl up on the sofa or in bed with an actual book in my hands. For us book lovers, it’s easy to get caught up and lose track of time while reading, as we are transported into another time and place that the author has created (in the case of fiction) or re-created (in the case of non-fiction).

Have a great weekend and Happy Mother’s Day!

Yours in crisp, error-free writing
Jessica
